It is always nice to keep in touch with clients who are keen gardeners, and witness how the garden evolves. My brief was to design a framework into which the clients could pour their horticultural skills. The original garden featured tall dangerous steps and a mound of rubble in the back. The only access was through the house so keeping the movement of material of to a minimum was a priority.
